  Always good. Great atmosphere. It's ducked off but worth it. I love the sauces and fries to start. The hushpuppies are a meal on their own. You can make any sandwich into a salad too which is for those days where you're trying to cut down on bread. Definitely a twist on your traditional po'boy … Mere

  Today, I had the pleasure of dining at Mr. Poboy for the third time since discovering this hidden gem. On each visit, I've consistently experienced excellent food, exceptional customer service, and a spotless restaurant environment, both inside and out. One standout feature for families like mine is the assortment of games available at each table, including Jenga, tic-tac-toe, and connect four. This added touch enhances our dining experience, allowing us to savor quality time together while enjoying delicious food. During my most recent visit, I opted for the Ms. Patricia, a shrimp po'boy dressed with collard greens and tomato. I made a special request to exclude bacon from my order, and I was delighted that the staff graciously accommodated my request – earning them extra kudos in my book. My children were equally thrilled with their meals, happily devouring everything on their plates. To sum it up, I would wholeheartedly rate this establishment a resounding 20 out of 10. Børnevenligt: There's a variety of fun games for the whole family to enjoy.

  I came here on a Friday evening (8/18). The server was nice! I got the catfish sandwich. It was absolutely amazing. But I was disappointed bc my fries were cooked too hard to the point to where I couldn’t even let my 1 year old eat them. I like that they have little games on the table to keep you entertained, but it was a little dirty. Which was my biggest concern: the cleanest of the restaurant. The person who took my order was sweeping the floor & then used the broom to sweep stuff off the chairs instead of just wiping it down with a disinfectant spray & a towel. All the ketchup bottles need to clean. I spent like 2 mins trying to decide which one to grab. I didn’t like that after squeezing the bottle my hands were dirty and sticky. It made me wonder what the kitchen looks, how they make sure things cooking utensils or containers are cleaned or how often they’re cleaned.

  My husband is a man of many talents. However, when it comes to his food choices, he is a very simple man. What does this mean, you ask? This means you can NEVER go wrong with a sandwich. Any sandwich. Now, if you want to make him very happy, find him a Po'Boy! Mr. Po'Boys in Fairview delivered hand over fist! From the time we walked in, to the time we left, this hidden gem located in the Fairview Town Center was bombarding us with flavor and comfort. I loved the clever names that they had for each of the Po'Boys, and the gentlemen at the front that took our order was great. He made suggestions, knew the menu, and was engaging and attentive. This place has it all! Simple with a Sports Bar vibe. There was a big screen t.v., ample outdoor seating, and lots of room for expansion. Mr. Boombastic got the Ms. Patricia Po'boy. Traditional French bread that had me drooling across the table(Ya'll know I Gluten-Free, but I was ready to RISK IT ALL!!) The baguette was voluptuous, airy on the inside and lightly crusty on the outside. JAM PACKED with perfectly seasoned, crisp fried shrimp, tomatoes, collard green slaw, and remoulade with fries. Daddy was so happy with this Po'Boy, he barely talk to me, he was so enraptured by this sandwich. I had the Smoked Brisket Boudin Rice with an order of Jalapeno Hushpuppies. That Boudin Rice was exactly everything you expect it to be. Fluffy rice, enrobed in spices, peppers, and onion, with fatty chunks of smoked brisket. It was Genius to use the fatter parts of the brisket because it kept the dish from being dry and mimicked the mouth feel that you get with a traditional pork boudin sausage. "It was all, I ever hoped for..."(in my best Joe Cocker voice) NOW, them Jalapeno Cheese Hushpuppies?(I got the shivers, just thinking about them) were off the CHAIN! For starters, they were the size of a golf balls and piping hot! The first bite issued a crunch that seemed like it echoed off the walls. They were the best combination of sweet cornbread, mets earthy/savory jalapeno and cheese. I could have ate myself SICK, with these things on their own, but let me tell you what the did? They added 2 dipping sauces of your choice! I went with the Spicy Remoulade and Brown Sugar, Cinnamon Aioli. BaYBaY! When I tell you, dipping the mounds of hushpuppy pleasure into either one of those sauce was like an out of body experience? I ended up with 1 leftover and had the AUDACITY to ask for a to-go box and a lid for the sauces I had LEFT! (Show did!!!!) If you are looking for that traditional, slap yo momma, Po'Boy that you thought you could only find in Louisiana. Hurry on over to Mr. Po'Boy!!! Check It Out!

  This was our first time at Po Boys in Fairview. It was very good. I had fried catfish and my husband had the blackened catfish. We also ordered hush puppies, french fries, and fried green tomatoes. All of them were very good. I ordered the honey mustard sirancha dip and the regular roumalade dip. The honey mustard was good, but couldn’t hold a candle to the roumalade!! The fried green tomatoes were good, and they weren’t cut in huge thick slabs, like some places serve. Very tasty. Not crowded. Fun games to play at your table, while you wait for your food. Everything was served piping hot!! *The owner needs to know that the front door doesn’t close completely, making the restaurant slightly warm. That said, there were zero flies (which is what, in my opinion, helped kill Twisted Root’s business). So, well done, Po Boys. We will be back.
