    I can safely say I would neither use this service again or recommend it to anyone. I ordered I headstone and memorial last November. I was contacted in May to say they were going to lay a concrete foundation etc please go and clean the sight. We did not happened. I called in July I was to receive a call back nothing happened. I went on holiday and upon return in September I called three times. No one returned my called. I was told the person is on holiday and would called when they return. It’s now October and I called again only to be placed on hold and then told the stone hasn’t come in. We don’t know when and the person had horrible customer service. At this point we have paid over £2000 pounds with nothing to show except my mother whose keeps going to her husband’s grave site to clean it. Just in case they show up. So say I’m disappointed doesn’t even come close. …….,,,, Thank you so much for responding. I do recognise that the world and most businesses are dealing with backlogs as a response to covid and everything else. I have no problem waiting I just wish that someone had taken the time to simply communicate with me the way you did. I will now change my review. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond my mother and I really appreciate it.

    Avoid you will be better off and happier going somewhere else, constantly chasing and asking for updates, when stone was completed it was done wrong and didn't 100 percent follow the layout that has been given to them 4 months on it is still not sorted and I have been very patient with them to try and fix it... now they have chosen to ignore emails and complaints, very insensitive to their customers.

    Purchase your memorial from this wonderful, compassionate, thoughtful , helpful, reassuring company. Their professional services are amazing. Their products are extremely high standard, full disclosure all way through , during what is very painful and difficult purchase, during personal grief We cannot recommend Abbey Memorials highly enough. My parents completed memorial is absolutely beautiful and looks wonderful. I live in Wales, memorial is in Basingstoke. Please do not be discouraged if you are not local to this company. This is not a problem, everything is handled Well, any delays due to on going Covid crisis is NOT their fault. Trust me be patient.....Will be worth the wait Thank you again, with sincerest gratitude from myself and family members. Will be a permanent reminder of much loved and forever missed parents.     I am 100% happy with the service that Abbey Memorials provided me with. Mark was excellent throughout the process, and always kept in touch with me to let me know what was happening. I asked if the kerb side memorial could be laid for my late father’s birthday and this request was granted. This made my mother very happy as she had no idea when I took her to the cemetery that her husband’s grave was now completed, it made her very happy on the day and she shed tears of happiness.     Made a point of visiting ,re a memorial pot ,sat there about and hour sorting everything out and promised to ring within a week ,3 weeks later I rung...”Sorry we have been really busy’” I will sort it out this week and ring you ,near on a year later ...Nothing totally unreliable or perhaps my order wasnt expensive enough for them ...So certainly wouldnt recommend...A wasted journey..
