Abigail’s design inspired our wedding, and her diligence saved it from disaster. Allow me to explain. My wife and I never wanted a formal wedding. After months of perseveration over whether or not we’d elope, my wife and I agreed that if she could think of a dress she wanted, we’d build a wedding around it. We’re American, but saw Abigail’s work and simply needed to employ her talents. She designed a beautiful bespoke Edwardian style dress for my wife, with antique lace. With the concept in place, we built our wedding around the dress, a full fig Edwardian affair. When it came time to send the dress overseas, Abigail (and her amazing husband) took every precaution to ensure its safe arrival in time for the wedding, and it was well insured. Royal Mail, however, misplaced the parcel, causing us a week of anxiety with the wedding quickly approaching. Abigail is not only a talented dressmaker—oh no—she’s also a no nonesense, takes care of business kind of person. She expended great effort to keep our spirits up and battled Royal Mail to find the dress. (I’ll spare you the horrifying details of the dress’ wayward journey.) Once Abigail recovered the dress, she made sure it got here in time for the big day and so saved the wedding! For British customers, I highly endorse her work. She’s a delight and a true artist. For international customers, especially American ones, she’s amazing to work with from a distance and I can say, from our experience, is now an expert in the international shipping of precious packages.
