Huge choice for women. Lots of nice fabrics and colours at mostly reasonable prices. The changing rooms are fabulous, spacious with lots of cubicles with full length mirrors that allow you to see how you look from the front and back. Not all have a bench or stool to sit on. Outside the cubicles is a large, well lit area with a mirror wall at one end so you can strut your runway stuff and really see if the outfit is perfect. Up and down escalators provide access to the upper floor where ladies' foundation garments, swimwear, accessories and the changing rooms can be found along with children's clothing. A nice clothes shopping experience I hope to repeat.

Never encountered customer service staff be more rude than in Zara, York. Returned some items of clothing I’d bought online here yesterday and was shocked at how I was treated by a staff member id seen here before. How she is still employed, you’d have to convince me but looks as though she is in a managerial position so its quite flabbergasting (the older Spanish woman with black glasses and short grey hair fyi). She ordered me to the til with a flip of her hand and then slowly took each item from the bag while rolling her eyes. As I stood aimlessly at the counter, she was chattering away to her colleague while again, slowly tagging and hanging up the clothes, piece by piece, without a care in the world. It got to the point where I had to ask, “am I okay to go now?”. She prickly responded with a “no, need to tag” so again, I stood politely and waited until I was excused (not like I had anywhere else better to be!). A couple of minutes later so proceeded to grunt, “you can go now”. I looked at the other staff member in disbelief and left feeling disregarded, and yet it was only because i had the audacity to return some clothes that didn’t fit me…
