We booked Angella's Kitchen Takeover for my Sister's Birthday 🎂 it was absolutely amazing. Angella came the day before to prep the arrived the following day with her Assistant to cook a delicious selection of Dishes. From Jerk Chicken to Curry Goat. Even my cousin who is a very picky eater enjoyed her food. It was so tasty and delicious. Thank you so much Angella. It was such a special time.

Have been meaning to leave this review for a while. I organised a £150 experience with Angella who kindly offered to host a session for my friends as a wedding present, much below her usual rate. Sadly, a series of communications issues followed and she never honoured our agreement, nor did she refund the £150 when asked, citing issues with the pandemic. Very disappointed as the experience looked like it would have been excellent - but Angella's customer service was poor and for a small, personal business I was hoping for much better. EDIT - (In response to Angella's comment below). I can see your prices on the website. But as you remember, you and I spoke and you kindly offered to provide a class for my friends for a lower price: "since this is a gift from the heart ❤ I would be happy to work something out" I understand circumstances change, and my friends took a long time to reply to organise. I also greatly appreciated that you had agreed to help out of the kindness of your own heart. I also understand that it's up to you to decide whether the agreement was suitable for you. But sadly, you gave mixed messages and never refunded my money, despite saying you were happy to do so. In your words: "I did suggest a longer session with additional costs, (due to rising inflation, the already heavily reduced price being no longer sustainable). If your guests have no desire to be placed on the waiting list and contacted when classes resume, (they did not ask how long they would need to wait) then to avoid further misunderstanding I am happy to provide you with a full refund." You also avoided answering additional emails when I asked for a refund to resolve the situation amicably. As I say, it's just a shame. The tone of your response to my initial review also speaks volumes. EDIT 2: And I'm not trying to barter, we don't want the booking with you anymore and haven't for a while. I've just been trying to get my money back.

I’m very busy and live in the United States between New York and Florida. I’m always on the go so I required clear and concise guidance and patience from a chef. Chef Angella ticked all boxes providing a step by step guide to producing some very tasty dishes ( even if I say so myself ) thank you chef Angella.

I had the pleasure of tasting Angella’s cooking during her residency at Parks Edge Bar and Kitchen for Meat-Free Mondays. I never thought I would enjoy a meat-free meal - but her menu absolutely blew my mind. We were spoiled for choice. From ackee and greens to Caribbean quinoa to pesto and avocado salad. Caribbean flavours flowed through the menu. Everything was delicious. The mackerel and okra salad blew my mind. And the sides - baby dumplings and plantains with a vegan dipping sauce were exquisite. I’m still in raptures even thinking about it. We ate every morsel. Thoroughly recommend.

I had a pleasure in meeting Angella at the Lambeth Ladies who Latte. She is such an inspiration and a lovely person. I asked her to cook for us when I had visitors from abroad and the food was absolutely delicious, spicey and cooked to excellence. Thank you Angella. Highly recommend her services.

I met Angella at Lambeth Ladies who Latte, a women's business networking group she organises. I was struck immediately by her professionalism and the expert way in which she manages this large group. Over two hours, everyone was given space to shine and as the leader she quickly generated a warm, supportive, 'can do' atmosphere. She made it look easy but it was clear to me there was a lot of experience behind the subtle guidance and ease. I would definitely recommend her as a team leader.
