    Ann's MiniMart is a wonderful little English corner shop, nestled in the centre of Daws Heath. In fact day to day it *is* the centre of Daws Heath! I can buy most of what I'd expect in small convenience shop at reasonable prices. The bread from a local bakery is excellent. We have been shopping there for years now, and we buy an increasing proportion of our groceries there. Ann is very welcoming and I find her a refreshing reminder of England in better times. She and Steve usually thank us for coming in, and will do their best to oblige us with what we want to buy. It is perfectly positioned in the middle of Daws Heath Road between Thundersley and Rayleigh to the north west and Hadleigh and Southend in the south east, and I can usually park outside if we are driving. They are open every day for long hours. Go there if you are local or passing!
