I stayed in Hacienda. First floor, over the bar and outside seating area. The hotel is on a busy junction. It is adults only. It is very convenient for The Stoller Hall, the Arena and Manchester Victoria. The room itself was beautiful. Very modern, with everything you need (including a fan but no hairdryer). The shower room was equally modern and well-equipped. The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows and the quilt was warm. The blinds didn't block out all the light, so an eye mask is a good idea. On the room itself, it's 5-stars. Unfortunately, although the windows are double-glazed and modern, the traffic noise goes on through the night and does come into the room. Also, the night I stayed, guests piled into the adjoining room, making noise and switching on the TV too high. This was at 0045. Two of the four then moved to the room behind mine, at 0130. Unfortunately, the doors need to be pulled shut with force, which makes a racket. They need planed. So, more noise. I think the hotel should make clear to guests to be considerate when they return. But, I guess that's difficult. I did sleep but only by using earplugs. I recommend those. My friend stayed in a room on the second floor and had no issues. Breakfast was delicious and included vegetarian options. If you are a guest, you get 20% off all food and drink. Breakfast was included in the room cost. The staff were lovely and helpful. Remember to have photo ID for check-in and to double check your credit card, as they take this at check-in and it says in the small print that there's a £60 charge against any damage being done. It would have been 5-stars but for the noise.
