BNI has been AMAZING for me! I am a copywriter (I do websites, blogs, newsletters, social media posts, all kinds of written content creation) and I joined BNI at the start of the first lockdown, Mar/Apr 2020. Now 80-90% of my business comes through BNI and I have gone from being a 'solopreneur' to a team of 6!! And it's not just through my own chapter (group) - I do lots of work for people in other BNIs ... my biggest client is in Aberdeenshire and she found me on the BNI app!! I have known of BNI for a fair few years, subbed and visited a few times. I recently joined as a member, finally my children are old enough to help each other out and get themselves/each other to school/college of a morning... meaning I could join BNI chapter Farnborough Jets! I have joined in a charity capacity and am very very lucky to have received a year's free membership as well as the hosting venue covering my monthly breakfast subs! So far my experience within the group has been amazing, the members are so welcoming and forthcoming with advice and ideas to help my charity grow. I look forward to a strong and positive ongoing relationship.

I have been a member of the BNI Hampshire - Farnborough Jets Chapter for the past 17 years. When I joined I thought it would probably be for 12 months - how wrong was I? Now the 4th longest member in the region. BNI really works for my business as people know & like what I do in the Event & theming world and refer me to their friends. Just in the past week, I have had two referrals from a member of a Berkshire Chapter who I have only meet via Zoom for bouncy castles. I have also been a member of the BNI Weddings & Events International Power Team and have contacts now across the UK but also across Europe as well as Canada & South Africa! Who said networking does not work!!!
