Our daughter stared at Brooke’s in March of this year. Changing her school mid way through year 9 wasn’t an easy decision. We went to have a look around and oh my it didn’t disappoint! From the moment of entering the school we were greeted by warm and welcoming staff! The school has a genuine family and a calming feel. She comes home happy and content and is a much happier girl! It’s the best move we could of made for our daughter!

Our children have had a really great education at Brookes. We were attracted by the Montessori philosophy to what at that time was the originalCherry Trees nursery, there have been many changes since Brookes took over but the school still enjoys a great local reputation and our children have thrived here. The ethos is child-centred and staff really go above and beyond with excellent teaching.

My son has now been at Brookes for nearly a year. He has settled in very well after a nervous start. The Staff and other other Children have made him and us very welcome. I was reluctant to move away from state education. However, I am very happy with how inclusive the School is. The smaller class sizes do make a huge difference in the ability for teachers to focus on individual learning needs in my opinion.

Brookes is a fabulous place for my daughter to learn and play. The friendly staff and pupils make it a ideal learning environment. She has been there since she was 3 and have never thought of going anywhere else. The teaching is excellent and we can really see how she has grown in the time she has been there

My children are thriving in this school, it's excellent, with small classes, large playing fields and good sports facilities. There is always lots going on for pupils and parents alike. My kids love going to school, I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Brookes school is without doubt an exceptional place of learning. The entire Brookes team ensures each child feels valued and supported at all times, this encouragement creates the most interesting and exciting environment for my children to learn in. It is so hard to put into words the 'magic' of Brookes, but I have watched this magic transform my very shy children into confident happy and successful learners both academically and artistically. The other huge benefit has been the varied sport offered so enthusiastically to all ages of children.

We were never going to select an Independent school but after a tough start in the local village school (having been born in NZ my little girl struggled with the noise & sheer number of small people), we came to Brookes (mainly for it's Montessori foundation). Go and have a look. It's small and rural, but you'll be surprised what you find.

Brookes is the perfect school for my children ranging between the ages of 13 and 6. There are sports, drama, academia, arts, music - a wonderful array of activities, clubs and trips to suit a broad spectrum of a child's gifts, needs and talents. Thank you Brookes.
