I can't praise this company enough. Both Sue and Keith the fitter have been amazing at sorting out a replacement of my elderly mothers fire. One she can use easily with a remote. I thoroughly recommend this company and if you want a fire of whatever type installed this is the place to use!

Very poor service. Called first time - was asked to do a chimney sweep before anyone can speak to me. Chimney sweep was done with the company they suggested £80 for 15 min of work. Next had to come to the shop as the lady on the phone was too busy to speak. Showed pictures of the place where fireplace had to go, had to pay a non-refundable £50 for survey. When survey was done I was told the job is too big and I need to employ somebody else to do the plaster board and call when this is done. No info on the stove or anything else provided. Ultimately I’ve managed to get quote for half the job after a long discussion. It was extortionate, clearly they were too busy to take on a new job and provided a quote so I can leave them alone. This was done with no timing of the installation provided. Overall wasted £130 pounds a few months with no outcome. My advice is to stay away from this shop if you don’t want to waste money and time there are plenty of professionals out there who can help for the fraction of cost and within reasonable timeline. I was just unfortunate to end up with this place.

I went in weeks ago and explained we had fireplace but just needed a new mantelpiece - possibly stone or iron. She gave me web links to sites to look at for the surrounds that they supply. I phoned today and explained I was now looking for a timber surround and was told to come in with pictures and measurements. I went in and showed photos and measurements to a very helpful gentleman. We had a long discussion, and talked about getting a survey done. Then when he told the woman that the mantel she started showing me wasn’t wide enough for our fireplace insert she said we can’t install that fireplace for you because we haven’t sold it to you. I said if I buy a mantel or hearth you won’t install those either? She said no. The man looked very embarrassed, shrugged his shoulders and apologised. Very odd behaviour - as if she suddenly changed her mind because she realised I wouldn’t be able to buy the display one she was wanting to sell me. Such a waste of time.

Highly recommended - popped in whilst passing for advice on installing a stove in a log burner - they were very helpful and knowledgeable. The installer actually knew what he was talking about, unlike others that I've spoke to recently, and was willing to help and give accurate advice. I can highly recommend them as the best retailer and installer I have spoken to.
