Excellent from start to finish. Quick to give a quote, fully understood our requirements, gave us great advice when we were unsure. Turned up on time, team were friendly, polite and respectful of us and our property. Removed tree stumps and large roots which were left by the council when they took the trees down. Extremely tidy at end of day and nothing was too much trouble. Fencing looks amazing and now feel very secure. Office team also very friendly and helpful. C A Cook & Co are simply the best! This week they've taken down 3x huge spruce for me (photo attached!)... not an easy job and truly terrifying to watch - so I feel compelled to share how awesome they are on here. They are a great bunch, and they deserve your business :) I bought a house with woodland at the bottom of the garden in 2019 - I was clueless about trees and woodland maintenance. An arborist friend identified 11 trees that needed felling... so for such a big job I got quotes from 5x local tree surgeons. Shockingly, there was a £4,000 difference between prices despite me providing a very specific brief. C A Cook & Co were the cheapest, so I was sceptical that they'd be professional. However, they'd been recommended by a neighbour, so I trusted her judgement and booked. They did a wonderful job start to finish! From that initial contact to date, they have carried out many, many jobs for me - urgent (storm damaged/dangerous/fallen tree removal) and pre-booked felling and maintenance. Charlie and his team are experts at what they do; they're professional, tidy, punctual, excellent at getting back to you, always happy to offer advice, friendly and polite and extremely competitive on price - plus, the cherry on the cake for me, they're also great with my cheeky dog who likes to try and steal their lunch!! I'm thrilled to bits to have found a local business, run by a very skilled, professional and friendly young man, who I can truly trust to take excellent care of my lovely garden for a very fair price.
