I've worked for C4 for almost 4 years now and I can only say the bets about them, even when i cant get to shift because of train strikes they even send one of the team to come and pick me up and take me to the shift. My name is Asum and I have been in the care environment for over four years. I have worked with many people who require support with their conditions such as autism, Down syndrome, dementia and general care home assistance such as feeding, personal care to just being a friendly person to talk to. Working for C4 is just amazing. Not only do they provide training and online courses to help me become a better carer, they have dedicated staff who are only one phone call away when I need them, 24 hours a day. My day to day duties include helping a young person become more independent with cooking, cleaning, reading and general life skills as he has limited capacity. I also work in different care home settings and helping people with many aspects of personal care to walks in the park. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenge for many carers and people in care. It has limited human interaction between carer and people who need care. I got vaccinated earlier this year as a precaution, so I can keep helping others live their lives to their full potential, and I wear masks and use hand sanitizer when I enter different premises. C4 has been excellent in providing masks and hand sanitizer so we can all stay safe in these problematic times. The best aspect of working in the care sector is seeing the smiles on people's faces and the satisfaction that I've helped someone today. When I leave work it makes me happy knowing that I've helped people today and made a difference in their lives. It's a very rewarding experience and also a humble one. I would recommend anyone who has a caring side to them to join the health care sector as helping people to live their life's to the fullest is not only a human thing to do but also it's more rewarding job than working in any other sector. I would recommend people to join up with C4 as they can give you jobs that cater around you and your personal lifestyle. C4 has a app that allows you to choose the jobs that suit you, with different times and dates.
