Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the magnetic filter CALMAG HF1 that was fitted in my property. Although it was checked twice by installer it leaked again and again, and flooded my kitchen multiple times. In the end I changed for Adey brand and it works perfect. Although I contacted Calmag and was offered a review of the faulty filter and a replacement filter, the company never did so, and stopped communication.

The water softener supplied by Calmag has not worked properly in the two years since it was fitted. It never regenerates automatically so has to be done manually. The fact that it will regenerate manually confirms that is working but that there is a problem with either a part or a setting which is stopping it working as intended. Our plumber has contacted customer services many times and has tried everything suggested by them to no avail. New parts have been fitted - although not the very one that the plumber has requested - and these have had no effect whatsoever. I have given one totally undeserved star simply because I cannot post this without one. I could not and would not recommend this company or one of it's products given the sorry tale we have to tell. Probably the worst purchase we have ever made.

They will sell you the softner but don't bother trying to call for customer or technical support! They'll tell you to send an email which will be ignored. Takes a week to get through on the phone, then you get conflicting information from different members of their team and rudeness. I dont even think the machine purifies the water to the extent it claims to as I've tested it and I still get limescale. AVOID.
