Appalling place, had a nice cup of tea and after using the bathroom downstairs mistakenly went through a door to the left. Immediately was aggressively accosted by kitchen staff who demanded I ‘get upstairs’ and got extremely weird when I paused a moment to get my bearings. So unpleasant and uncomfortable. Upstairs my wife went to pay the bill to be told that they had added a 10% gratuity but would remove it if she really, really insisted. It would ruin your day excepting both experiences were at the hands of people who really don’t care and in those instances you can only laugh and move on.

Went to the castle for a few hours and soon as we came out we saw this place, food was amazing and they had a great cocktail bar. Place is abit fine dining but still let me in with my shorts on. Try the Outlaw cocktail was really nice and the women who served us was really good. Lovely place

Lovely restaurant situated in an old school building at the foot of the Castle Esplanade. I tried Cannonball's tasting menu for the first time the other day. It was first class with perfectly matched wines. Portion sizes were extremely generous. Great value for money. Staff were lovely, in particular Sierra and James. I would highly recommend and will most definitely be back.

We booked Contini Canonball for an intimate post-wedding meal - and could fault neither the service nor the food. We were so well looked after and the team catered to our needs and requests perfectly. It was an incredible night. Kid-friendliness: Catered to a six month old baby in addition to guests.
