Third time we've used Cara Glass. FIrst time they were subcontractors for a kitchen installation, so we didn't actually choose them ourselves that time, but they were so good we have now used them twice again, ourselves, for subsequent improvements to the property. Great teamwork, polite, punctual, tidy (!!!), and just very good to work with, whether the office staff, the surveyor or the onsite guys doing the installations. Cannot think of anything about any part of the service, before during or afterwards, that wasn't positive on every occasion. What more is there to say? Would unhesitatingly recommend them.

Cara glass recently replaced a bay window for us, and their service has been excellent from start to finish. I had superb costumer service from the office, good knowledge about my options and communication about time scales. Tony and Alex arrived to fit the window on time, they were friendly and polite and the quality of their work is outstanding. Cara has just finished installing brand new windows, doors (including bi-fold) and secondary glazing on our three-bed detached home. Stu and Tom were an absolute pleasure to have around the house - so much so, that we actually felt sad saying goodbye! If only we had more windows that needed replacing... The customer / after service is second to none. Shortly after our kitchen windows and bi-fold door were installed, a plasterer scratched multiple panes of glass with a trowel. They refused to take responsibility, and after approaching Cara, they kindly agreed to replace them 'at cost'. That gesture helped us massively - not just financially, but mentally, after a very stressful Wren kitchen install! The quality of work was outstanding - it feels like a new house and the noise from the busy traffic on Netherhampton Road has softened considerably. So much so that we're even thinking of moving back into our front (road-facing) room again. Companies like this are hard to find nowadays - if only there were more like them!!

Cara Glass have provided me with a service for nearly 30 years, and this includes the complete replacement of Crittall steel windows with PVCu in a large rectory, to smaller requirements at three other properties. Although most of this was undertaken while the company was under the former owner (David Lawson) I was reassured to find many of the staff remain, and more so, the services offered, advice and customer service is as good as ever. The latest purchase was simply for an antiquated window handle, but they successfully sourced one. Simultaneously, they also advised me on an ill-fitting PVCu door (pre-owned) that I had fitted to an out-building. Cara Glass are my 'go-to' firm for anything glazing.
