There are mechanics, and then there are MECHANICS! Dan is the real deal. My bike was ārecoveredā to his garage last afternoon, he normally closes between 5-5.30pm so I was expecting him to keep bike and had anticipated returning home on the train and returning to pick up bike when fixed another day but noā¦. Dan stopped working on the other bikes in his workshop, he turned his attention to my bike wanting to get it fixed whilst I was still there, he didnāt rush, he identified the problem (previously been dismissed by another āmechanicā), took the time to stop and explain how this was affecting my bikeā¦ he then proceeded to fix issue making my bike ready, finishing at 7pm later than the time he normally closes, AND also loaned me a helmet and phone holder to get back home safe. Truly outstanding service, he now has a loyal customer with me whenever I am up North. A great lad, highly recommend.
