We highly recommend pre-marital counseling to all couples. It is a great way to strengthen your relationship and prepare for marriage. However, it is not a requirement for us to perform your ceremony. If you choose to do pre-marital counseling, we are happy to provide recommendations.How do you ensure that the ceremony runs smoothly and on time?
We work closely with the couple and the wedding party to create a timeline for the ceremony. We will also arrive early to ensure that everything is set up and ready to go. SJ is soooo lovely!! We are so sooo glad we chose her to be our celebrant for our wedding. The ceremony was so beautiful and many of our guests cried! I love how she planned it and how she used the readings we had chosen- it all flowed beautifully! Our guests thought SJ was really charismatic. For many of them, it was the first celebrant-led ceremony they had been to and they loved how personal it all was. We included a hand-fasting too and that was such a lovely touch. I also love that SJ was able to print our vows and readings because it meant one less thing I had to worry about. Our wedding certificates are also stunning! Highly recommend!

Booking SJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The ceremony was just perfect and we’ve had so many guests say how much they loved it. We’re not religious at all but still wanted a very meaningful ceremony and that’s what we got. SJ went the extra mile for us with all the little touches. I think the biggest compliment was from my Nanna who kept saying how much she enjoyed it. So thankful she got to see us tie the knot in the most beautiful way. Thank you SJ xxx

Due to restrictions, we decided to legally marry earlier in the year, We still wanted to celebrate with our friends and extended family, so decided to go ahead with our larger celebration later on, making it a renewal of vows. Sarah Jayne made our celebration very personal and special. She really listened to and incorporated our notes and wishes into the ceremony and made us fee like we were standing in an intimate setting, and not in front of a lot of people! I would highly recommend Sarah Jayne, she was such a lovely person and her passion for people really comes through when she speaks.

They say that everything happens for a reason, and I have to agree. Last month we had a last minute wedding crisis, and when faced with the possibility of having to cancel our special day (again) we reached out to Sarah Jane to see if she was able to help officiate our day. Despite having less than a week to plan for this, SJ stepped in, stepped up and came to the rescue. We were blown away with her kindness, her words, and her love for what she does. Everyone loved her, and she very nearly stole the show. I can't thank SJ enough for what she did for myself and my husband and feel truly blessed that from a crisis came celebrant, and that celebrant was SJ. Mr & Mr Pineros Thompson.

Sarah was fantastic as our Celebrant! My husband & I had to change our wedding due to COVID and our original celebrant recommended Sarah to us. We were nervous at first with a change to plans for our big day but we needn’t be worried in the slightest. Prior to the wedding we had a couple of calls with Sarah as a couple and completed an extensive questionnaire about ourselves & our ideas for the day. Sarah was great at helping to put structure to the ideas we had for the ceremony & recommending where to source unity candles (even purchasing them for us once we’d decided what we wanted) and was always on hand when we had any questions. On the day Sarah arrived early & setup prior to anyone else arriving. The ceremony itself was great and I enjoyed it equally as much if not even more so than any of the guests. The ceremony included unity candles, advice from our quests & quotes from John Cooper Clark & Marvel heros (quite an eclectic mix, just like us). The biggest complement i think Sarah could get was from my cousin who said the ceremony was lovely and Sarah must be such a good friend of ours to know us so well and interact with us in the way she did. She was shocked to hear that we’d never met Sarah in person before (the pains of organising a wedding during COVID). If anyone is wanting a personalised service and something quite different than a traditional service then i would definitely recommended having a celebrant and of those I couldn’t recommend Sarah highly enough. We had Sarah for our wedding ceremony at Shrigley hall, and she was brilliant everyone at the wedding commented how lovely the service was. Some men was in tears!! She made me the groom feel at ease straight away when I was a little nervous! Sarah also arranged for our daughter to say a little poem and it was beautifully put together and she made her feel at ease even when she was upset. We also did the hand tying and it was lovely she got our daughter to pull the rope which was a really nice touch and made her feel really involved in our marriage. I would recommend Sarah to anyone she's a lovely,professional, polite person,

Above and beyond!! Having had our initial ceremony in Italy washed out (with rain!), I was devastated that my Dad hadn't been able to walk me down the aisle. But SJ really did come to the rescue (at short notice!) for our reception at King Street Town House. She gave us the full celebrant experience so we didn't feel that we'd missed out on anything. The ceremony was full of personal elements that made it feel extra special, and all our guests commented on how wonderful she'd made it. My Dad and I will be forever grateful that SJ was able to give us the 'giving away' moment, we thought we'd lost! 100% recommended - we will definitely use SJ again (hopefully not for a wedding though!)
