One of my favourite local cafes. Food is always wonderful, staff are friendly and welcoming and it's a wonderful place for quiet working for a few hours or meeting friends for brunch. Highly recommend the falafels and Persian tea.

I’m a regular at this cafe because I love the food, the vibe and the owners are lovely! They have gluten free options and you can relax with a book, bring your laptop or sit by the window and chill. I’ve brought so many friends there who are always impressed by the food and coffee! I recommend going - the chorizo hash and go green smoothie are amazing 🤩 - Naz

After taking a look at what I could find out about the 'new kid on the block' - their Instagram page - I felt Dream Yard Café was worth a visit. The decor and shop in general is lovely and very welcoming, particularly on a hot day. We ordered a Full English Breakfast, Eggs Benedict and iced coffees. Both meals were disappointing. A few of the components of the English breakfast tasted precooked and reheated rather than cooked from scratch. The wilted spinach atop the bland and watery mushrooms seemed out of place. The hollandaise sauce which appeared to be split and lacked substance and flavour. There weren't many customers when we arrived so I feel that service and quality of the meals could have been better as there was no pressure on the kitchen or waiting staff. The best part of my visit to Dream Yard Café was the waitress who was polite, professional and attentive. I would be hard pressed to return to eat here. However, all things considered, I plan to give them a second pass in around 6 months to see if things have improved. If you have been planning to go to Dream Yard Café, and you want to base whether or not you visit on this review, I would say: go, your experience may be better. I think it's important to give this lovely little café a fair trial. 6/09/2021 - stopped by this week and they were closed... not sure if this is permanent or not. 2023: Great to see such positive reviews of Cheri's Cafe - looking forward to visiting soon 😀
