This was a present for my husband to go fly fishing with tuition. The lakes are very nice and it made a good day out as there is also a lot of areas to walk around and a nature reserve next to the lakes.

Lake is very big, with loads of swims to fish from, also very picturesque (even though it was pouring with rain) On site shop was a very welcome addition, with decent hot food and coffee for the freezing day (and lovely staff) Only managed a single 21lb mirror on the day, but will definitely be back. Really great lake.

Great complex, well maintained, and staff are friendly. Can get very busy on the weekends in the summer months, but the main carp lake is huge so you should always be able to get a decent swim. Did a night at the end of September and had three out - 26lb, 21lb, and 18lb. Can't comment on the other lakes on the complex as haven't fished them, but the carp lakes definitely worth a visit 👍
