Just had a hair and beard cut at this place. Avoid it and go somewhere else They do not listen to what you want and you will leave looking far worse than when you went it. My hair has been left a total mess and had to be done and paid for again by another barbers and my beard also as they messed that up too I contacted them and politely asked for a refund as i had to pay to have the problem sorted somewhere else and they refused saying they do not give refunds Under the consumer rights act of 2015 all businesses are required to provided a refund for any services offered yet they say they do not have to Avoid this place. Worst haircut i have ever had in my life. He even asked me how much to cut still he cut most of my hair recklessly without asking. Worst barber experience in uk ever. Wouldn't recommend haircut if you want your hair to look nice. Now I’m just waiting for my hair to grow because my hair is too short because of the reckless barber. Barber didn’t even care about the problem and still took full price. Very disappointed with the services. Wouldnt recommend this service because he trimmed my hair very very short. Just got a hair cut and a beard trim right now at City Cut Barber. There was only the one person in the shop, and no one else waiting. Seemed very uninterested in the job and kept texting looking out the door while having a razor in his hand trimming my beard. Didn’t even use enough gel to lubricate the skin before using the razor. And I don’t even have dry skin. He made two cuts on my left cheek and didn’t mention anything about them. Tried to act like nothing had happened. I had obviously realised. I let him finish the trim and shave cos didn’t want to rile things up. Waited till the end - he didn’t mention anything and just quoted the full charge; didn’t even apologise. When I asked him about the cuts, then he said casually, “Oh yeah, sorry about that. I made a few cuts” like it was nothing. And then took the full fee. Not the first time I’ve been here. Always get my hair cuts here and they’re usually decent. And I get accidents can happen - but when it is because of lack of sincerity and attention without any apology and if you’re going to act like nothings happened - that’s just disappointing and frankly - shady. Appalling.
