  Tom has done an amazing job transforming our garden and adding fantastic curb appeal to our house. His advise on the best plants for our south facing plot with high winds was invaluable. The designs he drew up and refined really brought to life what it would look like. Then on the day the plants arrived he ensured everything went to plan.   Creating our garden has been a really enjoyable and trouble free experience from beginning to end. From an empty irregular space with privacy issues, we have a lovely garden which compliments and enhances our house. We can't wait to watch the garden develop as the plants mature. Tom listened to our ideas, respected our budget and came up with a design and planting plan that was everything we wanted - and more.   My wife and I moved into our new build home in January 2018 and as is normally the case on new developments the quite small rear walled garden had been entirely put to grass. We wanted a really lovely outdoor area with plenty of places to sit together with trees, shrubs and plants that would give lots of colour and encourage wildlife whilst adding to the overall character of the property. In March we asked Tom of Compass Landscape & Design to come to view this outdoor space and asked if he could create a suitable design. In April he came round again and presented 3 possible designs all of which were really appealing. We chose our favourite and Tom then produced the detailed layout and contstruction drawings and we agreed with him the types of trees and plants that we felt would further enhance the design chosen. In early May the excellent contractor arrived and in 3 weeks totally transformed the garden layout completing it ready for planting. The trees and plants arrived in early June in superb condition and all 200 were planted in their chosen spots in one day. Due to the very dry summer we have had we watered everything as advised by Tom and 3 months later we have a trully outstanding outdoor living space full of colour and variety of plant and most importantly for us the once barren grass area is now full of bumblebees, butterflies and even a couple of crickets!! It is a joy to just sit and relax in the garden and be surrounded by colour. For a fraction of the cost of buying our house we have been able to get Tom to transform the garden which we look out at every day and which we use for relaxing and entertaining when the weather permits into a really beautiful extension of the house. Tom is charming, very professional, efficient and thorough and an excellent Landscape Designer

  Tom was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He guided us through the design process making every step of the way relaxed and easy to understand. He gave really good advice to ensure the design fitted with the space we had and the style through the rest of the house. He always offered practical suggestions and solutions that kept the budget down and we are really happy with the final garden design. Tom worked tirelessly through the building stage, and his workmanship was of the highest standard. We are absolutely thrilled with the final outcome. If I could give 10 stars I would!!
