Monkii Cage: The Monkii Cage is an excellent way to carry anything roughly cylindrical on your bike, that's not a water bottle ("bidon"). I use one for tools and tubes (in a plastic tub) and one for a large, 1.5 litre bottle of water when touring. The Monkii Cages hold them rock steady. The only disadvantage is that you can't access things while riding, but it's not for that. The price is more than most conventional water bottle cages but similar to other luggage bottle carriers. However, I'd recommend the plain Monkii Cage rather than the Monkii Cage V. I originally bought two of the "V" type as they were supposed to be more secure. In practice, I found the twisting action needed to release or fit it meant it was less secure and could interfere with chainring, so I got a plain type, which is easy to use and absolutely secure. Despatch from Cycle Miles was quick, and you don't get jelly babies but the handwritten despatch note and book marker are a nice touch. Excellent product, nice firm to buy from!
