I had the pleasure of spending most of a weekend here, volunteering for a charity stall in the store. I can honestly say that every member of staff was lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to explain and recommend products. I was a customer too by the end of the weekend 😄. Their products aren't cheap - however, given the quality and strength of items like shampoo and soaps - they go a long way making them comparable to any supermarket brand in terms of cost per use etc.

Me and my mum visited this store yesterday and everyone there was so great and helpful as we shopped. Such a kind and friendly group of people. I can’t recommend this shop enough for how enjoyable of a shop it was. We were served by Daisy who honestly made our day being so helpful and so incredibly sweet to us. Such an incredible experience. <3

Lovely friendly staff! I came in shortly before closing time and they were super fine, not pushy at all and still so talkative. The staff are very chatty with each other and customers every time I visit, such a lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend, great products too!

Had a lovey experience within this store today. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take the ladies name however I know that she was blonde. She asked me about my day and my plans whilst scanning me out, I had bought a Flamingo Egg bath bomb, and she ever so kindly gave it to me for free as part of her act of kindness. This has absolutely made my week after stressing about uni and work I couldn’t be happier. I want to thank this person despite not getting their name so thank you if you see this. You really made my week.

Used to go into Lush York frequently to stock up on products and bath bombs. But no more. Really had enough of being bombarded by staff as soon as I enter the shop. I get that they are trying to be helpful, but the last few visits, I've been spoken at for ages, and cannot get through to where I need to be! When I do finally manage to politely extricate myself from 'greeter staff', I get a similar experience from 'bath bomb expert', asking me what im looking for, whose it for, have i tried this new one; or commenting on the one i happen to pick up and bag! I just want to browse and read the labels, or pick up exactly what i want and get out ASAP! Please, please stop doorstepping customers! If I want assistance, I'm perfectly capable of asking for such. So sadly future purchases will be made online, to avoid the above and make my shopping experience enjoyable and relaxed, not an aural assault or rushed, anxious recon misson.
