Chris was a great help in organising my father in laws funeral recently. Communication was great and Chris was always concerned to know that we were happy with and understood all the arrangements and nothing was too much trouble. Would have no hesitation in recommending Denisons. Thank you.

I have nothing but gratitude and thanks for the Dignified professional service received from Denisons of Guiseley, the personal service provided by Andrew Flatley of Denisons was second to none with genuine care and considerate regular contact which kept us (The Family) fully informed, they then delivered on everything they said they would which has been commented upon in a very positive way by all attendees and those who have seen the recording. Our sincere gratitude to Andy personally and to the team at Denisons. A Dificult emotional time made so easy and with care! Steve & Vicki.

If it were possible I would award zero stars for the service provided by Denison’s. I could write a long list of the failings that Denison’s made with the Funeral service of my Mother in Law, culminating in turning up at the cemetery only to find that the grave had not been dug. To say that they fell short of our expectations would be an understatement, and subsequent communications from them, have only served to reinforce how little they actually care. In my personal opinion they are a disgrace.

I have thought long and hard about posting this review. As a family we have tried very hard to come to terms with the events of my mothers funeral. The service we received was appalling. The catalogue of mistakes started on our first visit to arrange the funeral and culminated in our arrival at Guiseley cemetery to find that the grave had not been dug. It's hard to describe the shock and on going grief this has caused my 91 year old father and the rest of my family. Why am I posting now 17 weeks later? We have just returned from a family break only for my sister to have received a letter from Denison's asking if we would like to use their Stonemasons. We were promised as a family that lessons would be learnt! ( This is on top of a letter asking us to consider a pre-paid funeral plan sent earlier). They have learnt nothing and the promise to always remember my mums name was hollow. I would like to have given them minus stars!

Possibly the worst experience you could have for a close family members funeral. and to top it all they wouldn't even except responsibility.

Appalling company. It is with sorrow and a great deal of frustration that I am writing this review but unfortunately Dennison’s have got it wrong AGAIN. Our Mum passed away in March of this year, her funeral was held in April. There were several niggles leading up to the funeral that showed a general lack of care and planning but I was able to keep on top of this and steer the funeral director when things were going wrong. On the day of the funeral however we arrived at the cemetery and my mothers grave hadn’t been dug. The effect of this was devastating on the whole family but our 91 year old father was hit very hard. The funeral director could not explain how this had happened, would not take responsibility and left us looking for answers on our own. A few weeks later when settling the bill with Dennison’s they sent us leaflets for prepaid funeral plans, quite why they thought any member of our family would want anything further to do with them was beyond us. But it showed a lack of communication between departments and a failure of Dennison’s and James Mahoney in particular to handle this personally. Yesterday we received another letter inviting us to use their stone masons, again why on earth would we use Dennison’s again? Mr Mahoney assured us a family that our mothers name would never be forgotten within the company and that lessons would be learnt from the mistakes that they made. It seems that within 17 weeks her name has been forgotten, and yet again no lessons have been learnt.

Respectful and professional, I had to postpone my Dads funeral as I was I'll in hospital, this was no problem for them. The celebrant they appointed was realy good, spent time with me to sort a loveley eulogy for my dad, a simple, respectful, quite funeral for a quiet man, my Dad.
