We visited for lunch on Mothering Sunday and were delighted with the food and the service. The roast beef was the most tender we have ever had, a mountain of it with an excellent Yorkshire pudding and an array of vegetables. The jug of gravy was much appreciated too. The desserts were excellent- a trio of chocolates desserts and a toffee apple crumble with cream. Sadly I only managed half of the apple dessert after such an ample first course! The service was first class- a special mention of the charming and enthusiastic young waiter who clearly loved his job and was a joy to watch. The bill was very reasonable given the quality and amount of food we had. A great experience and we will definitely be back.

We attended a very well organised open day event on this occasion, but have been just for the gift shop and garden centre in the past. The grounds, retail area, and college itself are clean and tidy, and the facilities are extensive. Staff and students are helpful, polite, and very welcoming. There is a hotel, restaurant, cafe, gift shop and garden centre, run by the students and open to the general public, with great food and lots of unusual gift ideas. Well worth a visit. Your support will be much appreciated.
