Fence was very poorly made. Within weeks of delivery it began to come apart, exposing nails and eventually becoming unusable as it could no longer stand up. Frodsham Gates agreed a return and refund and then refused to honour this, accusing us of having mistreated the fence! An appalling experience. We have reported Frodsham Gates to Trading Standards and are pursuing legal avenues to get our money back. Avoid at all costs.

Very happy with my gate from Frodsham Gates. Really heavy, well made and to my size requirements for a reasonable price. Delivery was about a week. The gate is straight and true and feels like it will last for ages. I painted it immediately with Ronseal 10yr timber paint and it looks fabulous. Update 18th July 2022 > I was so happy with the first gate I ordered another one for the other side of my house including matching panels. Looks amazing.

Booked a quote for 9th November 21, never turned up. I Emailed them and they apologised and finally turned up on the 17th November. Took measurements and informed me the quote would be Emailed within 7 days. It's now the 23rd December and having sent 3 Emails asking for the quote, it has never arrived. Totally wasting my time, unprofessional company.

I waited a couple of months for delivery of 2 gates. When they arrived they looked great, so were treated and fitted immediately. Within a week they started to twist and warp and within 6 weeks they started to fall apart. The screws used had been cut presumably because they were too long and, although I’m no expert, the timber used appears to be untreated and of interior quality, not suitable for outdoor use. I’ve had to repair both gates, very poor quality and I wouldn’t recommend using this supplier.
