Attended a wedding here and the staff were exceptional. I had a bad back and they went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible which is rare and highly appreciated. The food was excellent and the sky bar was great too.

There was no plug in the sink as they could not find one to fit. The shower leaked and the coffee machine leaked. Room was not cleaned as reception said it could be up to 1700 before cleaning. Superb boutique hotel that’s a stone throw from historic sights and the wonderful city of York. Our club has room really had a high class boutique feel, as did the rest of the hotel. The staff were all excellent and their hospitality made our stay here a pleasure - Magic Mike looked after us at breakfast with his smile and service really making the morning experience. Quite central, about 10 minutes away from the city center. Rooms are nice and spacious Nearby activities: 10 minutes away from the shambles, 5 minutes away from the York minster, lots of bar and restaurants very close.
