Located in Rochester's famed photo studio district, Dockside is a simple functional studio with a charming host. Decent size clean space with backdrops. You are left alone so it helps to have an idea what you are doing. Conveniently close to a mainline railway station and with reasonable parking down a Victorian alley. The outdoors is very interesting; part Dickens and part Spaghetti Western. Well worth a visit.

I have used Dockside a few times now and find studio a really nice peaceful place to work. Has is own free parking right outside, so easy to unload equipment. Studio rates are very reasonable and If needed they have a wide range of equipment to hire. Also there are a couple of very good sandwich bars close by. Laurence White.
