Holly is amazing..super calming and knowledgeable. I took the plunge and invested in a doula and it was the best money I have ever spent! My first birth was natural and I don't think I would have had such a positive experience without her. She was great. She is very very calming and her massages were really a relief and helped me through a lot of pain. Importantly, she reminded me about my options when the doctors proposed courses of action, which was very useful as you really can't think of anything / or remember anything in those moments. She also helped my husband by giving him some much needed rest. I used her for my second birth as well..and thank goodness.. as it all happened super fast and baby arrived before the midwives and ambulance could get there. We planned a home birth as an option but we never thought we would find ourselves delivering a baby without midwives / medical help. She really kept us all calm (even though i know that it must have been worrying for her as well) and helped deliver the baby. It was a very special and unique experience..impossible to have had without her calming and knowledgeable presence. I am soso happy she was part of my most important moments. I truly believe that they would not have been so positive without her!! I think it also really shows that she loves her job and she went above and beyond to ensure my birthing experience was a good one.
