Awful experience with Ektor. I originally attended an orthodontic consultation for invisalign, however, lingual braces were recommended by him as a better option and I trusted him. Enamel in one of the upper incisors was damaged during bonding. I had to remove the braces after only two days due to major limitations in terms of speaking and chewing that of course he had only superficially mentioned in the counselling session and the following orthodontic report. One essential bit of information that he does not discuss with patients, before getting consent to proceed to fit the braces, is that the composite resin used to bond the braces sticks very tightly to the teeth and will be impossible to remove completely after removal of the braces, without damaging the enamel. In my case, as soon as the braces were removed (and this was not lucrative anymore for him), he basically became totally disinterested and washed his hands off completely. I had to push to arrange a couple of appointments to try and remove the resin and still have not resolved. After two months, I still have composite resin behind all the teeth in the upper arch which is extremely uncomfortable. In my experience (and I am also a doctor), Ektor presents as a good actor but he is definitely unprofessional, does not understand the concept of duty of care to patients and is just interested in money. Besides, he overcharges without any real clinical justification. Do your research well before trusting him. I lost £4000 and got no improvement in my smile and teeth, only damage and stress.

I was visiting from the US and I accidentally forgot to pack my elastics for my braces! I called the office and spoke to Mohamed who helped me by speaking with the DR. They were able to provide me free of charge a pack of elastics to last until I get home! Thank you so much, now I won’t lose any progress on my teeth! Truly amazing they helped me like that.

Ektor is an amazing Orthodontist and his team is second to none! A friend of mine has highly recommended a visit at Ektor's clinic as I was already after unsuccessful treatment in my home country and by then I lost all my confidence that my cross bite and mild lower jaw asymmetry can be treated and improved at my age. The results have been amazing. I can't stop smiling. It has been a long process over 2 years, but it was worth every minute. Ektor was very professional, knowledgeable and supportive from start to finish so was his team! I couldn’t be happier with my new smile now. I would recommend Ektor to anyone even if you think your case might be too difficult, he would assess you and provide you with a realistic options and plan of treatment.
