Hired a room for baby shower , clean and spacious , friendly staff , deposit was paid back promptly Toilets needs attention though.Toilet door would not lock and generally just needs some maintenance I would hire this room again though 🤗

Sooo... Where do I start 🤣 What a disgrace this 'bar & grill actually is! So everything was going great, I booked the room for 60-70 people for my daughter's 4th birthday meal, £150 deposit! Husband paid cash... took it... great! And then the joke began! Arrived... room was already decorated with the number 4 ( same as my daughter's?) what's going on? Approached by a chef who couldn't speak English, couldn't understand him other than don't worry your ok 🙈 they tried n tried to contact who had come, told us no deposit was paid from them so it was our room. Turns out the other party paid the same deposit before us and was just as innocent as us. With their party being just as important as ours I made the decision to look at other options on the same site (although none really suitable) due to my numbers of guests. and let the other party have the room as they had set the room up beautifully before us and was as genuine as us. We then went on after many tears and arguments as decent people and decided to offer the business the opportunity to keep both bookings and keep us but asked a £100 compensation on top of our £150 deposit paid for the fact we had to be cramped into a room that was suitable for maximum of 30 people and left my daughter at home for nearly 2 hours waiting to turn up to her own party!!!!!!! We then carried on through the tiniest of rooms possible, with awful waitress service, no updates and only English speaking staff to help us but to top it off all the food had been ordered to accommodate 1-6year olds and took over a hour minimum to come out 😡 after all the this time most my party left or gave up especially as their children was soo hungry. At the end of it all no management was then visible, I was due money back but no one to get it off. I was then told I had to clean all the room including the floor (which I know is normal but not when not advised or not in these circumstances) so I did this to be given the money I agreed. They should also offer compassion to the other party, who also endured stress with the whole 2 hours prior to guest arriving. The place should be shut down!!! not based on my review but POOR FOOD, POOR MANAGEMENT, POOR COMMUNICATION, FAILURE TO ADHERE TO ANY CUSTOMER SATISFACTION OR COMMUNICATION All the place is good for is going to smoke a splif 🤣👍👋🙄 One high note! There was one girl that worked there... local girl, short hair and tattoos (missed her name) that restored my faith as little as she could do she delivered great service and shouldn't be working for money grabbing @#@#ards like them!

Absolutely ruined my granddaughters 4th birthday celebrations on arrival we found that the room add been doubled booked, my daughter then agreed to take the smaller room after agreeing a compensation deal,then some of our party where waiting up to two hours for their food,couldn't fault the staff just bad management,food was ok Never again
