I've used Durham Park & Ride on numerous occasions, never had any difficulty finding space to park. The buses into the city are frequent, so no long wait and the drop off/pick up points in the city are very convenient. If your visiting Durham by car use the Park & Ride.

Impossible to find out the bus route on line to find out which P & R car park is the best to get to the Riverside. When I have used P & R in the past once i was in the city, I found it difficult to find which bus stops to go wait at (As no clear signs on bus stops) to get the actual P & R bus back to the correct car park. Further other bus drivers, locals and the Tourist info did not seem to know either. Ended up at three different bus stops before getting correct bus back. Then the bus drivers in two instances were grumpy and unhelpful. As I have walking difficulties it put me off using this service. Today I am trying to find out which car park to get to the Riverside so I do not have to walk too far, but the website does not give sufficient information.
