I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from Amanda and her team. From my initial inquiry, which was dealt with in a most compassionate and professional way to our final meeting at the funeral itself, I felt that I was in safe hands. Amanda made it clear from the beginning that the arrangements could be completely tailored to my requirements, i.e. as simple or elaborate as I wanted. She went through all the costs that were involved and arranged for me to meet Fiona who I was very happy to have as the celebrant conducting the service. She also put me in touch with a florist and a lady who produced the order of service booklets, both of which did a lovely job.

From the first time we contacted Evelyn Funeral directors regarding the passing of our dad, we had the best service we could possibly ask for! Our well-being, as a family was priority. Their team of funeral specialists were there every step of the way and gave our dad the best ‘send off’ as possible! They were tentative and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble for them. They recommended our Celebrant, Aimee, who was excellent and our Florist, Steph who designed our flowers to better than we could wish for! It would very hard to exaggerate the quality of the personal service received. From initial contact before the expected decease, sympathetic and dignified removal of the deceased from the house, straightforward presentation of options for the funeral, no attempt at selling “add ones” quite the contrary in fact, “do you really want or need” featured quite a lot. However, all “bells and whistles” there if you want them . Professional advice freely given from their experience. Introduction to local florist and printer for order of service - both small businesses at reasonable cost who provided excellent service and liaised with the undertaker to ensure a coordinated service. Lots of contact in the run up to the funeral - nothing was too much trouble for Amanda and the team who are clearly well used to dealing with stressed individuals. We used them on recommendation and were very pleased. The service provided was exactly what we needed and wanted.
