Visited yesterday to buy hedging. Patrick took the time and trouble to explain the features and benefits of various varieties and made me up a bespoke hedgerow. that suited my needs. Plus loads of advice on caring for the hedge. That bloke really knows his stuff. Many thanks.

I paid £368.99 and ordered 75 (3-4ft Laurel Hedging Plants) Prunus Rotundifolia listed online as Grade A. They clearly were not - opening the three boxes I was surprised at the poor condition of the plants as was the courier. The company has agreed to collect the plants and to refund the £368.99. However, the experience was made so much worse by the behaviour of the business owner on the telephone who was aggressive, unprofessional and inappropriate.

I bought 200 3ft golden privets for a job and 20% failed to take. Approx 5% were already dead when I received them! I tried to resolve the issue with them but was told that due to the hot weather in the summer (they were watered throughout) and that there was a few weeds in the photos supplied, they would be unable to offer replacements. I have now had to put this job right out of my own pocket (obviously purchased elsewhere) and I will never return to these cowboys. If you are looking for quality hedging, then I highly recommend you to go elsewhere.

I ordered 75 whips of native hedgerow, 5 bags of bark mulch and mycorrhizal root growth just before Easter weekend. I popped past after the weekly shopping trip on Tuesday after the bank holiday and Farm and country supplies couldn't have been more accommodating. They processed my order immediately so that i could take home what i ordered, then and there. Thank you so much for a hugely positive experience.
