We sadly took my aunt home from Frank Foster House yesterday, she went in after a bad fall in January, we have found the home to be just marvellous, wonderful caring staff, full program of activities, just a warm happy place, we wanted my aunt to stay there but unfortunately social services think a 96 year old with dementia has capacity, thank you every single one who cared for her as though she was family

If you want a good home in a nice location try a different home. Yeah they'll look after your loved ones but who's there to support the staff? The staff work hard and they hardly get any gratitude. Give a thought to those who work here and say thank you for the work they do. The carers especially and the laundry lady is lovely and helpful.

My Mum Ellen, moved in to FFH in January 2021. It was a very stressful time to move with the lockdown and it was so hard not to be able to be with Mum and settle her in after having cared for her myself for years. The staff couldn't have been kinder or more supportive in settling Mum in. When I was able to start visiting I was so delighted by how lovely the environment is. Everything is so clean and fresh and homely and Mum couldn't be better looked after by all the lovely staff. Highly recommended

If I could give Frank Foster House 10 stars I would. My first ever job in the care industry and I cannot tell you how valuable this place was to me. The training, the people and the care they gave to the residents was second to none. I am so glad I chose this home to kick start my new career. I enjoyed every minute of it and I will Miss them all dearly especially the cats Frankie and Pebbles. I would like to thank Cheryl Wright for hiring me and I would also like the Heads of Runwood Homes to appreciate this woman and all her staff that makes this home such a success. It cannot be easy and I have so much respect. It would be nice if the Head of Runwood Home could start reviewing staff.wages. Itβs not nice when people have to work such long hours just to be able to Pay their bills. We must not forget without the staff there would be no home. Staff should not have to work so many hours just in order to pay their bills . They are dedicated to their jobs so you should be dedicated to them too. I will never forget Frank Foster House or the wonderful staff because without you I would not have been able to secure my new role. I wish you all at this home success in the future and I am.so happy that I had the pleasure to meet you and work alongside you all.

Don't know about Care home but their admin is awful. My mum was supposedly on the waiting list. When I phoned to see how long they thought it would be until she got a place and how far down the list she was no one ever told me. Several times I phoned but no one ever called me back despite being told several times someone would. I did speak to the manager once who said she needed to check the list and would phone me back. Still waiting and this was early 2019! For some reason I dont believe she was ever put on the list. My mum has now gone somewhere else. It doesnt give me much confidence in this place in general if they cant even organise simple things at the pre admission stage.

Awful care home. They can't even give the basic care needs for the elderly. Many go without being given a drink for hours.
