    Might be better for takeaway, this was an eat in order. The atmosphere is fine, basic, was pretty busy as it was Good Friday. I’m a fan of mushy peas but I was disappointed with these ones. I also didn’t like the tartare sauce. Both tasted pre-made rather than made from scratch. The cod was pretty fresh. It did come with skin on it but I don’t mind that. The “whole tail scampi” was a bit disappointing. Pretty skimpy and a little unappetising explosion came out of one of them (see photo for details.) Flavour was fine, but just didn’t match what I hoped. Maybe good for kids. Finally, this might be an “eat in” thing but we ordered a large chips to share as the price was similar to two small chips, and we were told by the staff that it was a 50% bigger than two smalls. But the order arrived and I think we got two small chips. The quality and taste of chips were a good not amazing.
