5.15 more then an hour before they close just takeaway cup and a plastic knife for 1 coffe and a small cake 8£ and no toilet for costumers. They said blocked! Also rude lady behind the cakes. Not helpful and rude attitude. I know it’s a long day to work but we work too and just want to enjoy something good… very bad experience.

Good food, bad service. My friend and I both pointed it out to each other as we left. I felt like I was hasseling the person working there for asking a question.

I just find it takes too long to get served in here, despite the millions of staff, and the queue position is super awkward. I absolutely love the sausage rolls though so can’t quite wean myself off the place.

Great food but utterly unfriendly, unsmiling staff on 4 March. Felt as if I didn't belong. Went in twice and it was the same both times. However, the food was so good I went to Soho today, where the service from Rocio Burgos Luque was excellent. Why are the Crouch End lot so miserable and act as if they're better than customers? They could learn a few things from Soho!!

Lovely baked eggs and bacon. Queuing system is a tad erratic and quite noisy. Dog friendly which is great.

Absolutely love Gail's handmade chicken and chestnut pie - superb. Their service, not so much. It is atrocious!! Been into Crouch End bakery 4 x and it was on the same (non existent) level on each and every occasion. Today, the woman with bright red hair restocking the fridge at the door was telling off her colleague for being late and the time he was taking lunch. In front of all the customers. Do this in private please! I felt so uncomfortable. My take away coffee took unreasonably long to make because she (redhead) and the dark-haired barista were too busy talking about how she (red head) told young lad off. Making me wait because you are gossiping and laughing because you embarrassed the young lad is infuriating. I noticed how the other young server rolled her eyes when a customer asked her for a pain a chocolat and changed her mind. This is what has forced me to leave this review. Yes you have your regulars but this is damaging your brand and I for one will instead go to elsewhere for better service which is readily available in the other bakeries and independent coffee shops in Crouch End.
