GasFirst Emergency Plumber/Boiler Repair was good to communicate with. He showed up on time and completed the job in under the time he initially proposed. He wore booties to keep the house clean and a mask at my request. I was very pleased with his professionalism. I only wish I had spoken to him about the replacement faucet. Although it works fine as a laundry tap faucet and appears to be installed correctly, we just don't like the actual look of the gold tap installed. So just make sure you speak about that beforehand.

Our ageing boiler had stopped working altogether during the weekend.We contacted GasFirst Emergency Plumber/Boiler Repair technician who kindly came over on Sunday evening and diagnosed the problem, advising that it made more economic sense to replace the whole unit rather than one faulty part as other parts would start to fail too.He only charged half the normal call-out fee and came the next day to fit a replacement boiler.He did a brilliant, neat and thorough job and took time to explain every aspect of the process.I can only echo the other comments here by saying we couldn't recommend him more highly.We feel fortunate to have met him - a professional and genuinely decent, honest person.
