Ordered 6 rounds of Hay initially service was very good. Was not called before driver left yard as advised, it was pouring with rain and I wanted be certain the load was covered, or defer delivery. The driver arrived with load uncovered and so Hay was soaked. I refused to take it. I emailed my dissatisfaction and a new delivery date was given. Then I was emailed and the order was cancelled as the driver advised that he could not get onto my yard. I was asked to call for a refund. The driver never went onto my yard and I have had many deliveries over the years. Appaling and will never use again.

I have ordered now three times from here and it has been difficult every time. I gave three goes because I wanted a steady supplier and there are often teething problems but these charmers are deliberately difficult. Apparently it's easier to get rid of small orders by throwing the hay wherever they like (because they are incapable of arranging a time and keeping to it) than to have a minimum order. i only order 30 bales at a time, so if you have a large order I'm sure they would find it worth being courteous and professional- avoid if you are a small independent like me with just two horses. 30 bales may not mean much to them but to me they do, and I now have to move and restack the bales on pallets myself. They also do not like being questioned regarding which day the hay is being delivered- not understanding that budget forces careful planning. i did leave clear instructions by telephone and by email as well as carefully labelling the pallets in the barn. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful. i was contacted by the owner afterwards who was reasonable about it and i hope he will provide better guidelines for customer service in future for other clients with small orders.
