Taking your puppy to a new groomers for the very first time can be a daunting experience. However, from our very first point of contact with GoldWalk they exceeded beyond all expectations. Our 8 month old Cockapoo Frankie had spent several weeks in and out of veterinary care and underwent emergency surgery following a battle of bad health. During this heart wrenching time she became too poorly to groom which led to excessive matting. After explaining our pup’s unfortunate circumstances prior to making an appointment, Amy put our minds at rest by showing such compassion and understanding. She also fitted us in at very short notice despite her busy schedule. On the day of our appointment we were greeted with such a warm and friendly welcome as soon as we stepped through the door, leaving us with positive lasting impressions of the salon’s culture and atmosphere. Frankie settled in straight away, relieved from any anxiety and off she went with Abbie to begin her groom. This wasn’t the norm for her as she never leaves our side and loaves any form of grooming but seemed to find comfort in the girls straight away. We then felt reassured that she was in the best hands which confirmed entrusting GoldWalk Groomers was the right decision. We were given a short but thorough consultation by Amy which also included the important aftercare advice. With Frankie being our first ever puppy, we are learning along the way. Her extensive knowledge and passion for animal welfare speaks volumes and is demonstrated through her wonderful work and clientele. The salon itself is immaculate, super chic and has a well-designed layout, fitted with state of the art equipment. Upon completion, the pups can play and roam freely behind a gated area that’s completely crate-free. We received a call an hour or so later to let us know Frankie was almost ready and eagerly made our way to collect her. On returning to the salon, Frankie came out looking and smelling absolutely gorgeous, transforming our matted fur baby with a pristinely smooth and silky coat. The attention to detail was meticulous, showing such skill and high-quality work. Time is taken here to prioritise your pups individual needs, making them feel comfortable and safe is always at the forefront of any decision-making process at GoldWalk. Thus, in return this builds trust and ensures a safe and happy grooming experience. In stark contrast, previously we have collected a distraught Frankie from her previous groomers but this time round she was her content and bubbly self! This in itself is telling as her owner as to the utmost quality and care Frankie was treated to. My parents brought Frankie into my life as a form of therapy after I was diagnosed with a debilitating and life-limiting condition which rendered me mostly bed-bound. She very quickly became my companion and best friend who has brought so much love and happiness into our lives at a very dark and uncertain time. I know when my time is up, Frankie will always have a part of me that will live through and provide comfort to the rest of my family. I am so thankful to have found GoldWalk for Frankie’s forever grooming needs and look forward to her becoming a loyal customer for many years to come! I cannot recommend these lovely ladies and their incredible work enough. 💗 🐾

We move to this groomer in October after the groomer we was using cut my dog twice and didn’t tell us. Best move we have done dolly our much loved dog seems happy after her groom and they do a lovely cut! Seem to listen to what an ask for and it’s lovely you can see the dogs being groomed. The ladies are lovely I always book dollys next groom before leaving.

We have been going to this grooming salon for a year now since we have our 3-year old cavapoo. Although our little Barney is not always a big fan of being groomed his pawrents (us) are very happy with the service and Barney still loves the very nice and lovely Abby :)
