Excellent communication, prompt service and good advice. Proper oil boiler engineer for Firebird boilers and not a plumber or gas engineer moonlighting as one. Boiler running better and more efficient than for the last 5 years. Oh, also wears a shirt, tie and waistcoat as a nod to bygone tradesmen. Great bloke.

Recently had A firebird Oil boiler fitted by Green and reliable and was amazed by the quality of work carried out start to finish (from quoting the job to signing off at completion) I will be sure to Have Green and Reliable back every year to service the boiler and will use again in any other area of central heating works if needed!

Allan fitted our boiler and did all our other plumbing when we renovated our cottage 13 years ago, he has been back every year since to service our boiler, he does a fantastic job and is very knowledgeable, after the service this morning our boiler was running at 98% effeciency which is great for a boiler of that age. Thoroughly recommend Allan for service and repairs.

I was very pleased with the service I received first I had a Oil Boiler Breakdown in my rented house in York . The Emergency engineer arrived within the hour and the boiler was repaired and I asked for options available for a new boiler. I received a phone call the next day and Alan went through all the options Air Source heat pumps ground pumps electric heating gas boilers or a new Oil Condensing boiler but recommended I didn’t have a Combination boiler I decided on a new oil boiler as I already had the Oil Tank. He followed up with a email and prices of a new Grant oil Boiler and I think the other one was a fire bird I looked at the reviews and I preferred the Grant boiler. The new boiler was fitted over a two days with a powerflush and a filter to keep radiators clean. The tenant says the new Oil Boiler is very efficient and Alan added a part to the Flue so the steam goes up over the house as it was in the patio area. This was all done a few months ago and Alan went back today to check things over and to clean the filter free of charge . Well done Green and Reliable I could only give 5 starts as they won’t let me put more on.

Oil heating I rang green and Reliable about my oil boiler that stopped working. He came out and was surprised the amount of oil spares he carries. He got the burner fully rebuilt like new, and it’s quietest it’s ever been. Would highly recommend him to anyone. Very knowledgable engineer. Best wishes Dean
