My experience of RLE surgery with Dan and the team at Optegra in Guildford could not have been better. As a 54 year old with otherwise healthy eyes the choice was down to me to have the surgery or not and this was made very clear to me during the consultation. At no time did I feel pressured to have the surgery which was extremely refreshing. The Guildford Optegra centre was fantastic and the staff were amazing but the real accolades must go to Dan for the work done to both my eyes. The operation (both eyes done at once) was very relaxed and easy and we chatted throughout. Results have been fantastic with better than 20/20 vision as a result. The best choice I ever made…and no more glasses. Many thanks to you all

I have recently had cataract surgery on both eyes carried out by Mr Lindfield. I was rather nervous about the procedures never having had any previous problems with my eyes. As well as being a very proficient and experienced surgeon, I found Dan very approachable and happy to answer any questions and spend time explaining things to me. I never felt rushed in either pre or post operative meetings with him. The surgery days went very smoothly - clearly an efficient and professional team. I felt that whoever was taking care of me at any point during the procedure took time to introduce themselves and explain what they were doing which I found very reassuring. I obviously relied on Dan's advice and decisions on selecting my new lenses and I'm delighted with the outcome. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

I had a rather nasty accident in which my eye got poked by a stick when I was clearing a hedge. Dr Lindfield was able to book me in the following morning and after a quick consultation he prescribed me a course of antibiotics. Within a couple of days I felt a lot better. Dr Lindfield's knowledge and expertise filled me with confidence throughout and I knew I was in safe hands! Overall a great experience and I would thoroughly recommend him for any eye-related medical queries or issues.

I had cataracts removed from both eyes and replaced with one long sight and one close sight lens for reading and distance by Dan. You nice my brain worked out what to do which in fact was only a couple of days I have not worn glasses. The whole procedure was quick and efficient with absolutely no problems.
