Went to four crosses in cannock staff lisa and sj where amazing, first time ghost hunting, lots of activity, very fun night lots of laughs with staff and groups, we were so happy me and my friend are booking again in few months, thank you lisa and sj for great first experience felt very comfy and welcome

2nd time with Haunted Happenings. Arrived at Middleton Hall on a sub-zero temperature night following 1.5 hour drive. Made our way to the building at 8:05pm, 10 minutes before the advised arrival time where the door was open and lights on. Casually walked in and asked if it was ok to come in. Unbelievable we were told simply ‘no, you need to go and wait in your car and we will come and get you at 8:20pm! Why? It was cold out too? Despite this initial rather unfriendly welcome, things did get better. We were shown around by Jo who works there, who was knowledgeable and friendly. Fairly quiet but some activity was witnessed and I’ve been on a fair few ghost hunts to know things don’t happen all of the time. The team were pretty good throughout the night, just a shame we had a rather odd start given we could have just sat in the base room and waited for 10 minutes. Would give just short of 4 stars rather than a solid 3 but this isn’t possible.

Newsham Park Friday 23rd December 2022 We attended Newsham Park Asylum last night and unfortunately, the visit did not improve my dubious outlook, if anything...it decreased it. We believe that actors posing as participants were used to both influence and encourage others during the visit, this supported by an early dart of the alleged actress in our group who apparently had been ghost hunting since she was 7 years of age, yet couldn't stay until the end..it's strange but that's as spooky as the night got. Speculation of course but before being placed in our respective groups, we were asked if we were believers or non-believers (which was a theme throughout speaking to both staff and the alleged). We ended up with the alleged actress being apart of our group which came with sickening enthusiasm and pure agreement with every nominal suggestion of sounds being the paranormal without synicism. The staff were lovely throughout and I learnt a fair bit of the history of the place but unfortunately the cat balls wern't convincing and as far as ghosts go...when something was about to happen or was in the throws, staff would go missing for split seconds. Take that as you will. Thank you for the opportunity but the actress ruined the experience, it came across as a desperate attempt to justify the cost.

To say I was disappointed was an understatement. The only proper history we got on the place was that it was used as a military hospital in ww1. Not any more history about any ghost sites or strange happenings . As scary as a teletubbies tv show . Half the rooms are locked and for two hours you just get to walk around aimlessly without any staff . Payed over 300 for six of us and all left very underwhelmed and disappointed . My advise don’t waist your money . Watch an old Frankenstein movie , it will probably scare you more

We had a great evening at Dudley Castle with quite a bit of activity throughout the evening. Staff were pleasant and made the environment fun. The only downside was actually getting to Dudley Castle with the town roads gridlocked on both sides of the road and lots of one way systems. The satnav kept taking us in circles. Communication of this prior to the event would have helped. They did call ten minutes before the event started to ask where we were but gave us the wrong postcode and didnt really know the area. The castle itself is at the back of The Fellows Pub and the correct postcode is DY1 4SQ.
