This firm are amazing. They came out to our flat to give us an accurate quote. The man thoroughly assessed how much needed to be moved and was very knowledgeable when we asked questions about the dismantling of our beds and wardrobe. The quote was very reasonable and even included a 10% NHS discount. We asked for a packing service which was a reasonable price and they came on a day before the move to pack giving 5 hours of their time to methodically pack and were very respectful of noise while I was resting in the other room. The same crew of people came for both packing day and the move day which was nice for continuity. On the day of the move they arrived promptly at the time they had said and got started straight away and didn't need any instruction they knew what order was best. They protected our TVs and mattresses and took everything down the 4 flights of stairs without complaint. At the other end they got on with unloading in the best way to protect our stuff and followed the pictures we'd stuck on the doors showing where furniture was going. They then reassembled the furniture brilliantly. They were always polite and well informed about the moving process when we asked questions. They even came all the way back to Southampton when we had a problem with one of the beds and offered helpful solutions and were very informative about why the problem may have occurred. If you are moving in the portsmouth area definitely give them a call as they have so many years of experience and out of all the people we contacted they were by far the best! Heirs moved my belongings into storage where I was stuck because of lockdown. On unpacking I found damaged furniture and a 2 year old tv , broken beyond repair . Richards reply you can’t claim from me as it been storage too long and we didn’t do the damage . They moved it they packed the tv they stored it how is in not there fault . I have sofa that has had the leather gouged from the arm dining chair that has been forced into something that has scratched all the varnish off the leg and the tv as mentioned . I was present when the unit was unloaded and the sofa and chairs were removed with the damage , I was unaware of the tv damage until it was being set up in the new house .cant blame not our fault is not the response I would expect from a professional company . Not what I paid for
