This company fitted composite decking in my garden in Feb 2018. At first the decking was fine but after a few months pieces of wood started to show at the surface and distort the pattern. (see attached photo). When I contacted the company they did come back to look at the issues but after seeking warranty advice from their decking product supplier (E Decks) it was evident from correspondance that the decking had not been installed in line with the manufacturers guidelines. E Decks have stated that the warranty has been invalidated. Holmes Fencing then walked away from the problem and didnt want to help me any further in resolving the problems they had caused. i'm now having to take them to court to get my money back. They also fitted posts and rope. The posts have become loose and the rope had fallen off as it was never fitted correctly in the first place. Finally one of the post cut out sections was over sized leaving a gap. They inserted a "fill in piece" which was another bodge job as that has fallen through the decking too leaving a gap. I would avoid using this Fence & Decking supplier as they are not prepared to warrant any of their work
