Average, not sure it's worth the cost (£60 pp plus 12.5% service) chipped tea pots, no offer to try more than 1 tea. This was a birthday present which I let the restaurant know, they didn't do anything at all for it. Dietary restrictions: I emailed with dietary requirements, these were ignored and had to go through everything again.

I took my friend here for her 40th bday and it was wonderful. All the staff were so love and really went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Food was also excellent. They even brought her a little bday cake. Thank you all for making it so special and being a part of our memories.

For my birthday we booked a 3 course meal on Groupon, to dine at the homage hilton, the lady that seated us,made us feel very uncomfortable and her facial expression said it all, after being seated, we waited 35 minutes to be seen too, the young lady was clearly ignoring us,let me add my personal opinion was because of the colour of our skin,service was poor ,ignored and overlooked, Purley because of the colour of our skin, disappointed and sadden at how we where being treated, the waiters,I cannot fault as one in particular a servicer that does not take orders was very helpful I must point that out, but the lady that wore glasses, the only way to describe her ,needs to be reprimanded as her attitude and demeanour was visible, when questioned about the extra charges, and asked why this was not explained, or made clear as we had a voucher which was 3 courses and a glass of wine in which we had, her reply was this is our supllementry charges,we spoke she said because of the misunderstanding the service charge and extra charges would be discounted, bill paid and left without even checking my receipt to only discover this lady had charged us full price for everything,very disappointed upset and angry at the level, of service we recieved, being over charged as well as being made to feel unwelcome,embrassed and honestly felt racism at the homage hilton, Will never be back and will continue making everyone aware of the way we where treated and or fine dining this was the worst restaurant I have ever been too. AND IF YOUR BLACK DO NOT GO YOU WILL NOT BE WELCOMED

Took my partner for her birthday to the beauty and the beast themed afternoon tea. We had an incredible time, the sandwiches were lovely and you could have more! The same could be said for the array of different teas there were too! The presentation was great with everything having a meaning behind it! Definitely worth a visit for the experience, especially great for a celebration!
