My name is Gabriel and I was working as Assistant Carer for Home Instead Senior Care. My wonderful journey in England and in this job started here. First time I've met these fabulous people it made a real good impression for me and it remained the same or even better for the whole period that I've worked for this International Franchise. I remember it like it was yesterday. I've greeted all the people in the office, and shortly after some very nice bloke named David introduced himself, smiled and asked me if I would like a cup of tea or some coffee. After a while I found out that he is actually the Manager of the company :) I' ve started working there and to be honest with you it was something totally new and different for me, but I've took the challenge guided every step of the way by very enthusiastic, passionate, professional and easy going colleagues and managers, who took the time and patience to be by my side and help me learn and progress. What I loved the most about my job, was the fact that I felt like in a family and beyond. Because at some point me and another great colleague of mine Lucia we needed help and one Saturday night David the manager showed up to help us at around 23 ish late at night and with another occasion Tony the other manager showed up to help on a Sunday afternoon. I did the same when needed both for the managers and for my colleagues as well. I've met extraordinary people at HISC, people with awesome stories, extraordinary moral qualities, hard working and kind by nature people. So to all my former camarades, I bow to you all and I feel honoured for having the chance to meet such great people: Stephen, Tattoo Tony, Lucia, Leigh, Di, Rachel, Gosha, Sarah, Laura, Freya, Maddie, Liz, Claire, Christine, Shauna, Helen and I realy realy hope I didn't forgot someone else from the people I know! And if I did, sorry it was unintentionally. Yes! I would totally recommend them! Yes! I totally believe that one should try this job as a spiritual enhancement experience. Being a carer it's a life changing event. You learn to be happy with little things in life, you don't take small things for granted anymore, your soul takes you to a higher plain of understanding life and it's values! And first of all you realise that time and elderness are irreversible entities and you learn to be humble and noble at the same time! So for all of you who are from Bishop's Stortford and adjacent areas and plan to try this experience, HISC is the best place to start! PS. I love these guys and always will, I left because I moved to a town on the sea shore, wich was a childhood dream of mine 😁

HISC carers have been visiting my mother for over three years now to offer companionship in various ways. This has mainly been in the form of light duties preparing food, clearing up, chatting and providing support. They have always gone out of their way to accommodate any requested changes to the agreed schedule, and recently they’ve been good enough to visit her at a care home to where she has moved, to give extra support. Their general pleasantness and reliability has been important and appreciated and they’ve by and large always been on time, and have rarely let her down with a much later visit. Ironically, having met a lot more people from other walks of life has had the effect of broadening my mother’s outlook and attitudes even in her 90s, and she has enjoyed meeting so many more people than before, which I feel has been a big plus on top of knowing that HISC were keeping a close eye on her. It is good to know HISC are still there and are bravely carrying on caring for their clients during the virus crisis. Sadly, my mum will have to wait until the care home accepts visitors again before she can continue the HISC visits, which usually cheer her up and give her a boost. . In sum, we have recommended them to a few others who have duly been in contact, and can see no reason not to continue to recommend them based on our own experience.

Brilliant staff, I cannot thank them enough. They are brilliant with my Grandfather. He is constantly talking about how lovely the staff are and they have always been super helpful to my family. Such a happy and committed team who are always prepared to help in any way that they can. We would never look back at choosing them.

First impressions are not good. They don't turn up on days they are expected and turn up when not expected. Teething problems are not acceptable when dealing with the elderly and infirm. Additionally, things are expected to improve when there are teething problems...not deteriorate. Seriously unimpressed. Update: The fact that you have now sent me a mail address to contact you, which is not even valid, just raises further concerns about your organisation!
