I am a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and to be fair I find the facilities to be outdated, yet functional. The library on the 2nd floor is the best part of this building, you can work from there from 10am onwards and feel inspired by all the knowledge and the views around you while enjoying free tea/coffee. Video calls are allowed in the library if you use a headset. Plenty of free desks available with power, usb and good free WiFi. Manufacturing Room is brilliant for conference calls for committees. If you are a member visiting London, it is worth utilising the facilities.
