Needed a new boiler, asked them for a quote, all went quiet, no visit and hence no quote. Sent them a reminder, they promised to get back to me, all went quiet again. Guess they just cherry-pick their jobs. A simple decline would have been nice.

I am always a little worried by online reviews that are completely over the top either way - do they have a grudge against the business/person or at the other end are they related? Reading the reviews here I am gobsmacked. If this firm were as greater set of bandits as one reviewer claims then they would be out of business. The fact that they are not, tells you something about the reviewer maybe. My experience of this firm could not be further from the truth when compared to the rant which has been posted. They are professional, customer focused and do a great job at a fair price. They have serviced my heating system for several years and dealt with problems that have arisen. Indeed only recently, they stepped in to help with a problem when my Home Insurer (Admiral)'s so-called emergency cover proved to be hopeless. No registered Gas Safe engineer leaves a property in an unsafe condition - I do not believe it of anyone, after all if they did they could be checking the plumbing in jail. Please do not use this company . Francis Wilson has fitted new boilers onto old fluesI have been told today at my property , which is against Worcester Bosch practising standards . He has fitted pump heads intended to go inside a boiler because they were cheap instead of the correct pumps .This means they were not energy efficient and not covered by the manufacturers warranty . I have had to have my entire heating system overhauled by an honest Gas Safe professional . Every task done by Francis Wilson and his two employees was half done to save him money but charged for at extortionate part prices and hourly rates . He posted photos of my property and location on Facebook breaching client privacy laws When challenged , he was abusive and threatening and I have had to make a statement to the police regarding his behaviour . I trusted him and he took advantage of my being a widow on my own . The worst kind of tradesperson . We are very lucky that we have not all died of carbon monoxide poisoning due to his negligence with the lack of flu change when changing the gas boilers . I have never regretted using any trades person in the way I regret using him . I have reported him to Worcester Bosch , Gas Safe and Trading Standards Please be careful , I do not wish anyone else to be put through the anxiety stress and unnecessary expense we now face correcting his dangerous and incorrect work . Would highly recommend. I was sure I needed a new boiler and was looking for quotes. Fran assured me that there was still life in the boiler yet, and advised that I waited before buying. However, he fixed the drip (without charge) and spent a good deal of time going through the pros and cons of different types of boilers for when we did decide to buy. Knowledgeable and honest.

Made the mistake of using him without getting a written quote. Some of the things he said he would do he didn't then said he hadn't agreed to do them after he carried out the work. Left a hole in ceiling and and tried to change for a cooker connection that was agreed was in the price before he fitted it. Not a great service
