We came to Vanessa to cover the essentials with our 4-month-old pup, Roland. Over five weeks we have him improved on lead walking, recall, stay/wait and leave it commands, are building up towards alone time, enrichment exercises and curbed barking at meal times! Safe to say we are a lot more in the swing of things after our intro sessions. Vanessa is always so knowledgable about his breed and that is reflected in how thorough she is with her post class email reports. We even have a WhatsApp thread in case of any little queries that come up, which has been a huge support. Roland absolutely adores Vanessa and I’m sure we will be coming back for more classes as he gets older and enters different phases. A big thank you from the three of us for bringing out the best in our little Roland 🐾

We have been using Vanessa for about four months, ever since we welcomed our new Jack Russell puppy. Right from the start she has been absolutely amazing! We started off with an initial zoom call to find out what we needed and to find out more about our puppy. We were immediately put at ease with her professional attitude and vast amount of knowledge. In the first few meetings she was able to teach so many tactics to use for having a new puppy, from toilet training, walking on the lead, recall, interacting with other dogs and humans and so much more. As time has progressed we have moved onto more advanced training, working towards the kennel club bronze medal. I cannot recommend Vanessa enough, she has guided us through this vital stage in our dog’s life with great professionalism and expertise. She has a very friendly and warm personality and always takes the time to follow each session with a detailed description of the key skills that we have covered and checks in with us between sessions to see how we are getting on.

Vanessa is great. I called her for help with our cocker spaniel, Moss's, lead walking. Vanessa tailored her methods to Moss's breed and gave me lots of other useful advice and games to play with Moss to help with other, more minor issues we had. Moss loved the training. My family and I put in the work as recommended by Vanessa and it's paid off massively. Moss is like a different dog on the lead now. We're all delighted. I highly recommend Vanessa.

We would highly recommend Vanessa and Jack's Mum Dog Training to anyone! Vanessa is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and really caters the training to you and your dog's needs. We worked with Vanessa to help train our new puppy, and after just one session noticed a massive difference in our ability to better understand our pup. She helped us feel more confident as new dog parents, and was available to support between sessions. We definitely have an even better connection with our dog because of Vanessa, and I can't say enough good things about her as a trainer!

I could not recommend Vanessa enough! She was not only incredible with our puppy ozzy but also so helpful for a first time pet owner. She’s detailed in her approach and knowledgable about breeds in general. We will definitely see her again in a few months for training once our Italian greyhound puppy is a bit older for some extra support.

I have a Bedlington Whippet pup, and booked Vanessa for the puppy package, which covers the whole puppy 101, from potty training to separation anxiety to recall. Vanessa is amazing, she really knows dog and dog psychology and has the most ethical approach to training. I learned so much about how to bond and train my pup in a loving way.The amount of information and guidance given each session in follow up emails is incredible. HIGHLY recommend

We had some one-on-ones sessions with Vanessa for our 6 month old whippet puppy, and she was absolutely brilliant! She really knows what she's doing and having all the summary of each session was incredibly useful. We quickly saw a huge improvement in her lead walking, we've learnt strategies to help with calming and self control and also the importance of breed-specific play which has been really great for recall. It was also really fun and I feel like having some good structured training to follow has really helped with the bond between us and our pup. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
